Mobile PPS was founded in 2018 to address the inconvenience of visiting medical facilities for blood work and laboratory services. We understood that the process was time-consuming and often a hassle for many people. That’s when we decided to bring the lab directly to you, offering a personalized and hassle-free experience in the comfort of your own home or office.

Starting as a local business in Auburn, Alabama, we have expanded statewide, conducting thousands of blood draws across Alabama. Our services include blood collections, specialty kit collections, paternity collections, and more. At Mobile PPS, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals of all ages, including the elderly, those with disabilities, and those who may feel anxious about the blood draw process. Meet our Founder

Chelmense Swain

Chelmense is a dedicated mobile phlebotomist, with a passion for providing convenient and compassionate healthcare services. Her career as a phlebotomist began in 2005, and she went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) from Faulkner University.

With over 17 years of experience in the medical field, Chelmense has cultivated a multitude of skills from working alongside specialists in a myriad of fields such as internal medicine, rheumatology, and endocrinology but also by working with one of the top laboratory corporations in the nation, LabCorp (Laboratory Corporations of America).

During her tenure at LabCorp, Chelmense honed her administrative and phlebotomy skills and was promoted to Site Coordinator of the LabCorp Patient Service Center located in Auburn, AL.
After numerous years of working as a phlebotomist, she recognized that many patients had health limitations, fears of needles or simply did not have reliable transportation. So, in May 2018, Chelmense established Mobile PPS to fill that need right here in Alabama.

Professionalism, integrity, and respect are the cornerstones of her business and Chelmense is committed to serving not only her community but the state of Alabama as a whole to aid in alleviating the fear, anxiety, and any inconvenience associated with getting bloodwork.
