Can MOBILE PPS come to my office or workplace?
Yes, we come to your desired location. If you would prefer, we can arrange to see you at our Opelika office.
How much does Mobile PPS cost?
Mobile Phlebotomy starts at $75 and increases depending on the complexity of the draw.
Does insurance cover Mobile PPS?
Mobile-PPS charges an out-of-pocket convenience fee starting at $75. We will provide you with a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
Once your specimens are delivered to the laboratory of your choosing, we will provide them with a copy of your insurance card, the testing facility will bill your insurance for the cost of your laboratory testing.
How do I get my lab results?
Results are typically sent to the ordering physician within 24 hours of the draw. Depending on the complexity of your test, results could take several days.
Is a doctor’s order required?
All patients are required to have a lab order before having their blood drawn by one of our skilled phlebotomists.
What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?
If you’d like to cancel or reschedule, please do so within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. If you do not cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, you will be invoiced 50% of the scheduled service.
Do you do draws outside your service area?
We cover the entire state of Alabama.
Does Mobile PPS provide pediatric draws for children?
Yes, our highly skilled phlebotomists are trained in pediatric blood draws.
Is Mobile PPS certified to collect blood?
Yes, each of our Mobile Phlebotomists are certified and have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Can I schedule same day appointments?
Yes, but same-day appointments are dependent on availability. Please give us a call at 334-502-0023.
Can I schedule early morning or late afternoon appointments?
Yes, our regular hours are 8am-3pm. If you’d like to be seen before or after those hours, we offer before and after hour appointments for an additional $25.
Can I schedule a weekend appointment?
Yes, this would be considered an after-hours appointment.
How do you keep my information confidential?
We are fully HIPAA trained and compliant.

What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check or credit/debit cards.
Is Mobile PPS a laboratory?
Because we collect blood for the purpose of diagnostic testing, we are considered an Independent Clinical Laboratory by the Alabama department of public health. However, we do not offer diagnostic testing but only mobile phlebotomy services. We send certified, highly skilled phlebotomists to your home or office to collect your samples and drop off those samples at the laboratory you or your doctor selected for testing. 100% of the testing is handled by the laboratory of your choosing.
